Caesars Casino Review
Given the legendary status of Caesars land-based casinos in Vegas and Atlantic City, they’ve a lot to live up to by launching an online venture – but their site manages to showcase decades of casino management expertise using a bespoke range of software to stunning effect. We rate Caesars Casino 8.2 out of 10 in our review in 2017.
Caesars Casino is brought to you by Entertaining Play Ltd, licenced in Gibraltar. Players are only accepted if they are UK-resident. For clarity, anyone residing in the US or any of its territories cannot use the site, and funds submitted using a US-issued bank card are not accepted either.
As a household name, Caesars have to have the best, so it’s not surprising that they use a number of software providers: the games come from 888, Gamesys and IGT and their discerning approach shows, from the fabulous sound and resolution on the slots to the tastefully-presented table games. This is a no-download site, but ran well online with quick loading times.
Generally, the site is a monument to good taste, which is great to see as it could have been presented to us as a tacky, pseudo-Roman offering with statues and toga-wearing croupiers – in fact it’s attractive and informative with just enough going on in the lobby to remind you you’re being entertained by a casino hotel operator whilst not going over the top with annoying visual bonus advertising or other silly gimmicks. Special mention must be made, though, of their centerpiece Roulette Splendide game: this is the best virtual roulette wheel we’ve ever seen, and it’s almost impossible to distinguish from the real thing.
There’s only26 slot games, but they are a delight to play. The latest addition is Wonderland, the only 100 line slot we’ve encountered which is hardly surprising: there’s so many win lines that they can’t even display them across the reels in the normal manner, but then again if a Vegas Casino can’t go over the top, who can? There’s also 10 varieties of videopoker and a Play Your Cards Right TV game, though as we’d expect from a land-based outfit it’s the table games that make this site special. Apart from the aforementioned Roulette Splendide there’s 6 variations of Blackjack, Carribean Stud Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Hi-Lo and Baccarat, each with superlative graphics and comforting, understated sound effects.
There’s a whopping 200% welcome bonus up to £500 and a reload bonus of 50% up to £50, however these come with unusually harsh restrictions: firstly, none of the bonuses apply to Blackjack or Baccarat, which is odd considering that the Blackjack games are one of the best things about this site. Secondly, wagering requirement multiples vary with the type of game played: slots have a multiple of 20, videopoker, Hi-Lo and Play Your Cards Right have a multiple of 40; Roulette, Pai Gow and Carribean Stud have a multiple of 80. That means an initial deposit of £50 will be matched by £100 – spend it on Roulette and you’ll need to bet £ before withdrawal. There’s also a £20 refer-a-friend bonus and regular trips to be won
Caesars accept Visa (credit, debit and Electron), Mastercard, Maestro and UKash, and will process withdrawals in 3 working days to credit cards, or 3-5 working days for bank transfers
Telephone support is offered round the clock on 0800 4583534, as is email support (see site for details) and live chat from 9am to 11pm. FAQs cover virtually every conceivable query
Caesars have done a great job in bringing a genuine Vegas-style experience to the web with a welcoming environment that does justice to its brand. For Blackjack and classic Roulette lovers there’s nowhere better, although in fact anyone looking for that little bit extra that only a multi-software site can provide will be dazzled by its plush gaming environment and good-natured, professional bonhomie.
Hence, is Caesars Casino safe to play at?For sure.
